JL Butchers update! May 08 2014

So things have been very busy! Just thought we'd better keep all our lovely customers and followers up to date with whats been happening in our world.

Recently we opened as part of a co operative in  at The Medicine garden which proved very popular and successful, we are 1 of 7 suppliers including Ildiko Chocolates, Cheese & Olives, Pattiserie, Cakes by Liz & Lorraine, Fruit & Veg & the Medicine Garden itself.

We were very fortunate enough to be asked by the Medicine Garden if we would like to take on the managing of The Larder ourselves under the umbrella of JL Butchers, after lots of number crunching and lengthy discussions we excitedly agreed!

As of June 1st 2014 The Larder Farm Shop will be under the management of JL Butchers, we aim to keep the shop as a cooperative and hopefully add more suppliers to the shop too! We want the shop to be a one stop place where you can buy local ingredients from local suppliers. If you are or know a local artisan producer of any kind then please do get in touch!

The second big project is our collaboration with Seasons Cafe & Deli in St Johns. Seasons is a well established cafe in the heart of St Johns and next week (15th May 2014) They are opening a Brand new Deli! They will be stocking fresh fruit & veg from Boz's Fruit & Veg in Woking. Artisan Cheeses, homemade tartlets, wine & champagne and most importantly of all JL BUTCHERS MEAT! We are very excited by this new contract as Victoria the brains behind the business is very passionate about local produce and supporting small independent business. Please make sure you pop along and check out the new shop!

All of that has kept us all very busy over the last few weeks and will keep us busy in the weeks, months and years ahead hopefully! There are still a couple more projects in the pipeline and hopefully lots more exciting products coming to all our outlets all the time.

Thank you again for your continued support!
